When we first heard from London Grammar back at the tail end of 2012, the stirring “Hey Now” came with very little context. Although, in the intervening months, much of the mystery has disappeared, it is still the trio’s music that is front and centre. If “Metal & Dust” proved that London Grammar were ones to watch out for, “Wasting My Young Years” suggests that their forthcoming album will be unmissable. Boasting sumptuous, soaring vocals, the song tells the all too familiar tale of young love falling apart, but with such an immediacy and magnetism that you’ll be hitting repeat the moment it ends.

“Wasting My Young Years” will be released June 16.
