Chance The Rapper is getting some big looks lately, but don’t sleep on the rest of the SAVEMONEY collective. Like so many of the up-and-coming hip-hop acts of today, the artists of the Chicago troop have surrounded themselves with like-minded talent, and these guys aren’t slacking off.
For “World Turning,” Joey Purp and Tokyo Shawn link up over a Caleb James production with deep bass and a mood-setting Erykah Badu sample for some smart, no-frills hip-hop that manages to sound current without giving in to gimmicks. Check it out below.
