On May 13 Domino will be releasing a three track collection of big-name remixes of “The Socialites” from Dirty Projectors’ 2011 LP Swing Lo Magellan. Stepping up to the plate are serial remixer Joe Goddard, electronic wizard FaltyDL, and all-conquering R&B duo AlunaGeorge. Hearing Amber Coffman’s angelic vocals paired with Aluna’s saccharine croon (not to mention George’s futuristic beats) is an interesting prospect, but one that we will have to wait a little longer for, as today we have Joe Goddard’s brilliant rework to sink our teeth into. Shining some tropical sunlight onto an already beautiful track, the Hot Chip man shows off a delicate touch on this smooth and danceable remix. Check it out below.
