St. Lucia isn’t a stranger to reworking songs (like his excellent Passion Pit remix), but this time the remix is one of his own songs, courtesy of Scottish electropop band CHVRCHES. The group’s version finds the St. Lucia standout more chopped and screwed, with the addition of extra synths, distorted vocals and chimes. It infuses a little more energy into the previously lugubrious track while still effectively maintaining the overall feel of the original.
