With his Billboard EP, S-Type instantly became one of the up-and-coming producers everyone needed to get familiar with. The Scottish producer—like his LuckyMe friends Hudson Mohawke and Lunice—brings a hard-hitting hip-hop influenced vibe to electronic music, but balances it with melody and complexity that you don’t find in rap beats.
