2. N.E.R.D. - "Stay Together"
Big Pooh says: Even though they had built up an impressive resume by then, In Search Of... is when I really began to appreciate the songwriting and musicality of the Neptunes.
3. J*Davey - "No More"
Big Pooh says: When I first heard J'Davey I got the feel of an edgier Groove Theory. It's ok for guys to play this joint in the car solo and turn it up!
4. D'Angelo - "Alright"
Big Pooh says: Who doesn't love vintage D'Angelo? I guess it's all vintage since he hasn't put an album out since 2000.
5. Icebird - "Charmed Life"
Big Pooh says: Been a fan of RJD2. Became a fan of Aaron Livingston after hearing their project together, Abandoned Lullaby.
6. Diddy - "Get Off"
Big Pooh says: This song was left off of Press Play for some ungodly reason. This is the lane Diddy shines the brightest as he channeled his inner James Brown.
7. G. Womack - "Groove With You"
Big Pooh says: This song is definitely a stone cold groove. Thank you Strict for putting me on to this jam.
8. Kendrick Lamar - "Bitch, Don't Kill My Vibe"
Big Pooh says: Proud of the young homie and the album he put together. We all knew he could rap, this song is a perfect example of his brilliance as far as song writing goes.
9. Ice Cube - "Jackin' For Beats"
Big Pooh says: You couldn't tell me Ice Cube wasn't the best doing at that time after hearing this song.
10. Jared Evan - "Are We Almost There Yet?"
Big Pooh says: This has to be one of my favorite songs from Jared. I love the way he sounds over hip hop production. Oh yeah, he got some flow too!
11. Amerie - "Every Time"
Big Pooh says: Producer Focus... gave her a groove that reminded us of the Rich Harrison/Amerie days. She needs more jams like this.
