The best remixes are usually the ones that completely change the feel of a track and remind you that a good song is a good song no matter what instruments, sounds, and production approaches bring it to life. For Penguin Prison‘s remix of Churchill’s “Change,” he takes out the organic feel of the Denver rockers’ soaring rock anthem and dresses it in synths, bouncy bass, and percussion that makes it impossible to sit still while listening. Unsurprisingly, the song is no less effective and that chorus resonates with just as much energy.

Churchill’s Change EP is out now.
