We’re a fan of anything Scandinavian here at P&P, so we were intrigued when we came across electro-indie band Musique Le Pop. And it took only a few seconds of their new single, “Turn To Sand,” to convert us to fans of the Norwegian trio. The track is a unique blend of sounds featuring light percussion and punctuated synths that’s drenched in lead singer Betty’s sweet, ethereal vocals. It has the feel of being enjoyably retro without bordering on outdated. The band is currently working on an EP slated for release this summer, stream “Turn To Sand” below.
