Atlanta rapper Gucci Mane is embroiled in yet another altercation that has landed him in jail, but the details for this latest charge are foggy at best. According to reports, Radric Davis was booked in Fulton County Jail early this morning for aggravated assault with a weapon. The photo above is his most recent mugshot and a photo of the wound on the man he assaulted is available here.

The weapon, in this case, was a champagne bottle, which James Lettley of Fort Hood, Texas said Gucci struck him with. Lettley is a member of the military and was apparently trying to get a photo with the rapper at Harlem Nights Club on Saturday, March 15 where Gucci was celebrating the release of his mixtape Trap God 2 the “Lemonade” rapper hit him with the bottle.

James was taken to the Grady Memorial Hospital and claims that he required ten stitches to close the wound on his head. A veteran of the Afghani war, James also claims a concussion and headaches since the incident. The warrant for Gucci’s arrest was issued last week and it is unclear whether the police apprehended him or he turned himself in willingly. He is scheduled to appear in court at 11 a.m. today.

Gucci has also been beefing with his long-time friend and collaborator Waka Flocka Flame, even dropped him from his 1017 Brick Squad label. The tweet that confirmed their dispute was sent out on the same night as the assault, although there is no official word if the two events are connected.

Update: Gucci Mane turned himself in to authorities was denied bond at his initial hearing on Wednesday, he and will be held until his hearing on April 10 said the Court Magistrate Tracy Flanagan. Mane’s lawyer Drew Findling said that he will appeal the denial of bond and that several witnesses claim Gucci had nothing to do with the chaos at the club that night.
