I’d just hung up from a rather frustrating work call when this new banger from Benga and English emcee Kano came through the inbox. The timing was perfect. I was ready to snap, but now I’m just snapping at the neck as I bounce around and thrash awkwardly in my office to “Forefather.” When discussing Benga back in December, everybody’s favorite D.A.D. curator Khal pronounced that “2013 should truly be his year to shine.” This new track supports that prediction and will be featured on Benga’s forthcoming album, Chapter II, due out in early May.
