The three young men who make up Vondelpark have taken their time building up to their debut album Seabed, with EPs in 2010 and 2011 being followed by a two year gap which has allowed the band to hone their sound and develop a strong aesthetic that gives this album a wonderful cohesiveness. “California Analogue Dream,” with its gently wistful vocals and subtle intricacies, showed just what the three piece from London could achieve, and the rest of this album of graceful electronic pop reaches similar heights.
