England’s Swim Deep is a new band, but there’s something undeniably ’90s about them. Part of it is the baggy plaid, long hair, and ripped jeans, but their no-frills style of melodic rock recalls the more simple time of pre-Y2K as well. This video matches their whole vibe perfectly. There is perhaps no better place to shoot a Swim Deep video than a mall and a bowling alley, and that’s where “The Sea” takes us.
