A little Woodkid, a little How To Dress Well, and a dramatic new video featuring “CGI flame horses and celestial charioteers” that the London trio directed and produced themselves. Dems’ “Desire” has R&B elements, but it’s built around a cold steel skeleton and drives forward with a sense of urgency that makes it more apocalyptic than atmospheric, even in its most stripped down moments.
