Last year, Complex cited Swim Deep as a band to watch — and it looks like the band’s on the right track because the group’s grunge pop foundation and colorful harmonies recently landed them a record deal with Sony RCA. Following the release of their latest single “The Sea” the band put out another beach related track as a B-side. Their cover of Led Zeppelin‘s “Down by the Seaside” takes the lilting beat of the track and speeds it up a little, letting the waves of surf rock lick at the shores of the classic rock standard.
