This is really happening you guys. It’s been roughly a decade since we’ve had any new material from The Postal Service. After recent confirmations that the duo of Ben Gibbard and Jimmy Tamborello were finally reuniting for a series of performances and releasing a deluxe 10th anniversary edition of their only album, Give Up, we’re now treated to “A Tattered Line of String,” one of two new songs that will reportedly be included on the reissue. Naturally it features Jenny Lewis, formerly of Rilo Kiley, just as so many of their original records did. Give Up part two will release April 9th in the U.S. via Sub Pop, be sure to check out upcoming tour dates below.
