Despite the fact that Frank Ocean didn’t seem to be sure whether or not he’d be working on a new album, one of the producers of channelORANGE revealed in a recent interview with Billboard that plans may have changed. Says Om’Mas Keith about potential new material: “He came over to the studio and said we’re about to get back to work again… So it’s just that creative talk, where we know we’re about to get back into the studio soon. I’m just not sure when.”
There hasn’t been any confirmation as to whether or not that this new material will appear on a follow-up to channelORANGE, so for now, we can only hope. Frank Ocean will be performing at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards tonight, and has been nominated for six awards.
