We enjoyed keeping an eye on Birmingham-based indie rock quartet Swim Deep in 2012. The group released a handful of singles last year including “King City,” a tune which ranked at #11 on our mid-year in review Best Songs Of 2012, So Far list. Wasting no time the band has already turned out their first new track of 2013, a pleasant and sunny song called “The Sea.” As we sink deeper into the recesses of the colder winter months, it’s going to take more warm enjoyable tracks like this one to help us pull through.
