Producer Lusine has been exploring the world of experimental electro-pop for the past decade and it appears his upcoming The Waiting Room will be no different. The album’s latest offering comes in the form of “Without A Plan,” a track that starts off simple and subtle but eventually builds up to a flush of synthesizers and plucked percussion. On the top layer of the song lie Janelle Kienow’s detached vocals, so blasé that they almost sound chic. Most impressively though, is that with this track Lusine has managed to create a true emotive experience, a feat that’s sometimes difficult to do with electronic music.
