In a nearly hour long BBC Radio 1 special, DJ Benji B teamed up with writer and composer Grant Windsor (who’s vibing hard to Benji’s selection) and a string ensemble to reinterpret a variety of dance music and hip-hop tracks. While Benji B mixed from a glass box, the musicians added new layers to some of 2012’s biggest tracks, including TNGHT‘s “Higher Ground,” G.O.O.D.’s “Clique,” and Jeremih‘s “Fuck U All The Time,” as well as some classics from Ossie, Bok Bok, James Blake and Radiohead.
