Dream Koala just stopped by The Boiler Room with Flume yesterday, and today he drops off some new (and free) music in the form of “Ocean.” For the young Parisian, the beginning of 2013 seems like a turning point—he’s making the transition from another name on Soundcloud to an artist to pay attention to, and so far, the attention he’s received is well earned. His music floats in a hypnotic zone that makes immediate sense of the “dream” part of his name, and with the progression he’s showing, it’s pretty obvious that Dream Koala is set to do big things this year.
