We received some disappointing news today when 22-year old rapper Big Baby Gandhi announced his retirement from rap on Tumblr. He didn’t give any official reason for stepping back from the mic, but vaguely cited a lack of support from people outside of his fanbase. You can read his full statement below and, apparently, he will be answering questions on Tumblr and Twitter for the next few days. It’s very disappointing news, NO1 2 LOOK UP 2 was one of the most promising pieces of hip-hop we heard last year and BBG’s unique style is definitely going to be missed.
