Sigur Rós has been steadily releasing short films for cuts off their latest album, Valtari, as part of their Mystery Film Experiment and today brings the final installment with “Leaning Towards Solace.” Like the rest of the films in the series, the visuals are intricately shot and manage to depict an overwhelming feeling of despair and delicate beauty, fitting the sweeping productions of the two songs featured, “Dauðalogn” and “Varúð.”. This particular clip enlists Elle Fanning as a young ballet dancer and the always excellent John Hawkes as her father. Where the other videos may have left you puzzled, this one is undeniably captivating.
