When I think of Sweden, two things spring to mind: the time I saw the sunrise in Stockholm at 2 AM and thought “god this would be a shitty place to be a vampire,” and great electro-pop. While it’s impossible to say whether or not Elliphant is a vampire, the Swedish singer’s latest single “Down On Life” certainly feels like a bid to join the ranks of fellow Swedes Robyn and Lykke Li as dance floor princesses. The video for “Down On Life” features Elliphant and her crew going for a nice, casual horseback ride on the beach and enjoying some seriously picturesque scenery. Check it out.
