Coming from The Weeknd school of drug hazed, sexually charged songwriting, and laced with spaced-0ut, lurching production, is the throughly modern R&B of Njomza’s “High.” Both soulful and hedonistic, this is an intoxicating and catchy introduction to the singer, who has only a handful of tracks up on Soundcloud. Atmospheric stuff, from someone we should hear a lot more from in 2013, as there’s an EP on the way.
