With the release of her “Figure 8” single in the UK on the 16th of December, Ellie Goulding‘s let us hear one of the remixes on the release, and it’s from none other than Breakage, one of the true bright spots in the future of EDM. His Promise EP found him exploring more of his house side, but this “Crenshaw & Adams” mix finds him back in his dubstep zone, although the drums definitely have more of a Trap/808 vibe to them. He takes her beautiful vocals and takes them straight into a more sinister realm, which pairs up perfectly with the content.
