Although it was released in 1988 on their Surfer Rosa album, The Pixies‘ “Where Is My Mind?” is probably better known for being a prominent part of the final scene in Fight Club. Likewise, producer Numonics is definitely better-known for his work with rappers like REKS, Co$$, Math Hoffa and others. He has a background in many forms of dance music, and alongside producer The Infinite, they plan on dropping an album, SUPERNOVA, by the end of 2012. This LP will showcase their multi-genre sounds, and this remix sits square in the drum & bass zone. Taking multiple elements from the original and beefing up the bass and drums, this remix really emphasizes the strengths of the original while beefing it up for the more EDM-centric crowd.
