R&B has experienced a creative renaissance in the past year, with guys like The Weeknd, Frank Ocean and Miguel taking the genre in all sorts of different, exciting directions. Next up is inc., an LA-based duo who’s debut album, no world, is a stunningly subtle, wonderfully cohesive collection of hazy, soothing songs which are so excellently produced and performed that it is incredibly easy to totally lose yourself in the music for the album’s 40 minute runtime.
no world isn’t released until February of next year, but for the time being you can enjoy the peaceful “5 days” and watch the nature-filled video for equally enjoyable album opener “the place” below.
