“A story of plane travel and waterfalls starring Michelle Williams.” That single sentence essentially sums up this new video for the gorgeous Wild Nothing track “Paradise,” off their recently released Nocturne album. The Matthew Amato-directed clip also features a new cut of the song, during which Williams reads from Iris Murdoch’s A Word Child.

While overall this is a very basic concept for a video, the visuals do seem to fit quite well alongside the airy tropical vibe of the record. “Paradise” has a vintage ’80s hue to it and this short film adequately reflects that character. Catch the vid below and enjoy Nocturne if you haven’t already.
