According to NME, Craig Nicholls of The Vines has been charged with five offences, including domestic assault, in Sydney over the weekend. Nicholls allegedly punched his mother in the head then tried to evade the police during Nicholls’ arrest, which resulted into another altercation with a police officer. Ultimately, Nicholls was pepper-sprayed and arrested. The Vines’ frontman (who revealed he has Aspberger’s Syndrome a couple years ago) will appear in court tomorrow for two charges of domestic assault, stalking or intimidation, resisting arrest, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
