Ever since we heard Icona Pop‘s “Manners,” we’ve been expecting big things. The song was a piece of instantly gratifying pop pleasure, but it had enough of an edge in a Passion Pit-y kind of way to remain interesting. Since then, Icona Pop has gone a more straightforward route. For some (me) that may be a little less interesting, but it has put the Swedish act in a great position to get some major international attention with their gleaming pop hits.
