Silent Dust ft. Zilla Rocca - "Massive"

1.

The story of Silent Dust is a dope one. These two started out as drum & bass producers who linked up and started collaborating. The more they got comfortable with each other, the less they felt the need to stay within the confines of the drum & bass genre, and really started exploring different textures in sound. They formed Silent Dust and were set to drop their debut album with Soul:r, but that ended up falling through the cracks. Never ones to stay silent, they started their none60 imprint and have been churning out futuristic soundscapes in any hue they feel like painting in.

This cut, “Massive,” features Zilla Rocca and is taken from the sixth single release on none60, due out November 5th. This song right here is some straight up Space Trap shit. We’ve got the 808s banging, but it’s cut with some intergalactic bleeps and lasers, with an ethereal vocal stuck right in the middle of the track, giving the beat some real meat. Rocca pulls no punches and straight space cruises on the track. Nice alternative to the sub-sub-sub-scene, further blurring the lines between rap and EDM, whether you’re ready or not.
