After being introduced to Distinction through his remix of Frank Ocean‘s “Swim Good,” we get another chance to check out the British producer’s moody stylings on his reworking of one of our favorite songs of the year so far, Danny Brown‘s “Grown Up”. It’s a slow burn that never quite bubbles over, trading the thump of Party Supplies‘ original production for pensive Rhodes keys and a greater emphasis on atmosphere. A fitting, if unexpected, recasting of one of Brown’s most personal tracks. Check it out below.
