The last few times we heard from French producer Dream Koala, he put us into a hypnotic state with his unique brand of chillwave. Today, we’ve got the premiere for his latest video, “Roofies.” The song, unsurprisingly, is about the heavy topic of date rape and features French model Mae Lapres. The usual haze that clouds Dream Koala’s songs is not present this time around, but instead appears in the disjointed visuals, creating an exaggerated contrast between sight and sound.
“Roofies” will appear on Dream Koala’s forthcoming EP, BLUR, available across digital platforms on September 19th. Watch the video below.
