Though British producer Metabeats isn’t precisely a household name (his Soundcloud proclaims that he’s “one of the UK’s leading producers,” so forgive potential ignorance on my part), he certainly has a keen ear for the type of production that brings out the best in Action Bronson. With a thundering drum break and serious bassline, Metabeats lays down a fitting accompaniment for Bronson to do what Bronson does: rap about food, hookers, and performing at Bar Mitzvahs. Though not as outlandish as some of his recent output, “Hookers” makes a fine addition to Bronson’s catalog of boom bap bangers. Check out “Hookers” below
