As the September 7th release date of their LP Keys to the Kuffs approaches, the duo of producer Jneiro Jarel and mercurial emcee DOOM (collectively JJ DOOM, in the spirit of past DOOM + producer projects like Madvillainy with Madlib and Danger Doom with Danger Mouse) drops off the album’s third single, “Rhymin’ Slang.” The track features a driving, synth-laced beat from Jarel and one of DOOM’s strongest performances since the Keys was announced, a typically loopy landslide of inventive ways to say “other rappers suck.” Check out “Rhymin’ Slang” below.
