It looks like we’re going to have to wait a few more weeks to hear what is arguably the most anticipated album of the fall. The Kanye-helmed crew’s Cruel Summer is almost certainly going to be pushed back for two weeks, based on an Amazon pre-order list. Originally set for a September 4th release, it’s now listed to come out on September 18th. The Amazon date was confirmed on Twitter by Malik Yusef, who I had no idea was still associated with G.O.O.D. Music until right now. All in all, the change isn’t a major one – it will still get its release before the Grammy cut off date, which Kanye is certainly still interested in, and the original release date was already ignoring the album’s title.
