After a string of strong tracks, Harlem’s Ro Ransom releases Ransomnia, a well-produced 17 song set featuring contributions from Chuck Inglish, Xaphoon Jones, Brandun Deshay, araabMuzik, Cardo, Casey Veggies, Trae the Truth, and Rich Hil. Even amidst a solid line up like that, Ro manages to conduct himself nicely, furthering his status as an emcee to keep an eye on. It doesn’t hurt that the young emcee is already developing one of the most important traits for longevity in rap: the ability to choose good beats that also complement him well.
