Fresh off of two stellar collaborations with Alchemist as the duo Gangrene, Oh No–producer, emcee, and little brother to the prolific Madlib–is gearing up for an intriguing release with his upcoming Ohnomite LP, dropping on June 5th.
Oh No was granted full access to the audio archives of Rudy Ray Moore, the legendarily filthy comedian, actor, and singer who rose to prominence in the Blaxploitation series Dolemite. With free reign to sample from Ray Moore’s catalog, Oh No crafted 19 tracks for a laundry list of indie emcees to rock over–the album features appearances from Evidence, Phife Dawg, The Alchemist, Erick Sermon, Rapper Pooh, MED, Guilty Simpson, Roc Marciano, Sticky Fingaz, Chino XL, and Termanology, among others.
