It’s been a few weeks since we’ve heard the news that The Antlers were set to release a new EP, Undersea, at the end of July, and you can now stream a track off the release now. Prior to this all hints were pointing towards a water-themed record – whether that meant nautical references and the sound of waves was unclear, but “Drift Drive” evokes a slightly different aesthetic. It’s almost as if surf rock was done through The Antlers’ restrained sound. It has the fuzzy calm of a surf rock track while still being, undeniably, and Antlers song.
