M.I.A. reminded us what she’s capable of with the self-assured “Bad Girls,” also returning to Romain Gavras (who directed the controversial ginger murdering “Born Free” visual) for one of this year’s funnest videos. Now M.I.A.’s triumphant return has been remixed by Switch (one half of Major Lazer) with guest verse from the indomitable Missy Elliott and young Baltimore upstart Rye Rye. An EP entitled Bad Girls – The Remixes, featuring verses from Missy E, Rye Rye and Azealia Banks over reworks from Switch, Danja and Leo Justi will be released July 6th digitally, or if your feeling especially flush, on a pretty funky USB key necklace which you can purchase here.
