We’ve been big on Chicago-based jazz and brass outfit, Kids These Days, for awhile now. In fact we included them in our list of Artists We Want To See Blow Up In 2012 back in early January. It’s because they continue to produce high-quality, well executed music like this re-imagination of Kanye West‘s “Flashing Lights,” that we want to see them succeed. This version of the track features new lyrics and arrangement from the group, and is a wonderful, creative take on an already stellar record. Look out for KTD’s debut LP, Traphouse Rock, coming in September 2012.
