Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros are known for their hippie tendencies and folksy, sing-songy sound, as indicated by the above photograph of the group holding hands in a field. This Little Daylight remix drags them out of their comfort zone a little, but not too far.
The synths do some light work and add a smoothness to the track, but the focus stays on percussion and layered vocals. It’s a subtle but fresh twist and works well to give these hippies a bit of a cleaner sound.
