Cat Power has announced a new album, Sun, due out on September 4th. It’s her first album of original material since 2006, and in an interview with The Stool Pigeon she said of the album:
“I cut my hair off three days [after the break-up], got on a plane to France, and finished the [album]. It’s all good, you know. I love the person very much. I actually love this record very much, too. I’m very proud of it.”
