Poor Alt Altman (aka Digits). Judging by the lyrics, he does seem to have astonishingly poor luck in his love life. I maliciously encourage females the world over to continue to reject him if the result is more music like this. It’s angsty, brooding, mournful and moody. Discordant synth bursts are littered throughout this track and bolster the breathy, sorrowful vocals.
Digits is your typical bedroom musician, but he proves that a synthesizer, laptop and looping pedal is all you need to mould beautiful yet strong music. “Lost Dream” is from Digits EP, Death and Desire, which is available to download for free from his website here.
