You might remember a few weeks back the Flaming Lips released a collaborative record called Heady Fwends on Record Store Day, featuring guest contributions from Ke$ha, Erykah Badu, Chris Martin, Nick Cave and more. As weird as that story was, it’s only getting weirder from here on out.
As part of the release of the project, ten limited edition pressings are being released for $2,500 each and each vinyl contains samples of blood from artists involved on Heady Fwends. So that exists, and if that sounds like something you might be interested in, you can verify the existence of the vinyl below with more another picture and videos. All the proceeds go to The Oklahoma Humane Society and The Academy of Contemporary Music at the University of Central Oklahoma.
