New Kickdrums for those of us who enjoy that sharp blend of hip-hop and indie rock that the production duo seems so adept at cranking out. With a little help from Casey Veggies on the rhymes, the Ohio duo gets into a pretty damn nice groove on “Thieves In The Choir.” The vocals actually sound a bit like Karl Wallinger of World Party and The Waterboys. Anybody else know who that is? 80’s music? Anybody? Eh, whatever— just listen to “Thieves In The Choir”, it’s good.
