Japandroids is just such a great band name. Yeah, it’s clever and futuristic and all, but more importantly it’s fun to say. Japandroids. Japandroids. Say it in a weird accent. Still great. But a great name does not a great band make. You also need a quality sound. Props to the Canadian rockers for having an energetic, fun sound to back the name. Check out the perfectly unkempt new single, “The House That Heaven Built,” off their upcoming LP Celebration Rock, due out June 5th.
