The last few times we heard from Cities Aviv, it seemed as if he had created a signature sound for himself—one that was spaced-out, psychedelic, and abstractly lo-fi. His latest release, however, suggests an effort on his behalf to step outside of his comfort zone, as “Normal Immortal” is still abstract but a little more aggressive.
