How about some broken-hearted soul for your evening (or morning, or afternoon or night), from the legendary Bobby Womack. He has a new record, The Bravest Man In The Universe, out in June and there is a lot to be excited about. Firstly, it was produced by Damon Albarn and Richard Russell (head of super-label) XL Recordings, secondly it’s his first full record of new material since 1994, thirdly it features Lana Del Rey (yes, this fantastically experienced musician must think she’s alright) and finally “Please Forgive My Heart,” which is our first taste of the record, is pretty much perfect.
