With the tragic death of Whitney Houston looming over tonight’s 2012 Grammy Awards show, it only seemed fitting that she was recognized for her remarkable work. As the awards show paid respects to those who the music world has lost this past year, Jennifer Hudson appeared on stage after Houston’s image was shown to sing one of Houston’s biggest hits, her remake of Dolly Parton’s “I Will Always Love You.” Hudson proved that sometimes you just need music to convey true emotion.
